Francesco Scavullo and Richard Avedon could not have done Annina justice. She was dressed exactly as I imagined a chick like her would dress: in a tight, low-cut top, mini-skirt and sexy heels. Traffic stopping. She was sleek, very classy but not snobby, and very friendly in a casual yet formal way. Many European women have a sort of guileless, open manner about themselves, and Annina had that. A lot of American porn stars develop a real snotty, snarly attitude, a bitchy style that's gotten bitchier in recent times (Thank you, Twitter!). Annina was nothing at all like that. She didn't have a bad word to say about anyone. We spoke on the set of SCOREtv, a permanent set with two chairs in our 3,000-square foot studio. It was like doing an afternoon TV talk show without cameras. This was not going to be an easy interview for me. I had trouble concentrating with Annina dressed like she was. Since this interview was not on video, I didn't have to worry about looking like a flustered geek. Those of you who have met any girls who have posed for our magazine know that they have a larger-than-life look and a larger-than-life effect on your brain. Annina had that effortless power. She has a very good command of English (unlike my lousy German), so we had no problems talking except for the occasional English word or two she was translating in her head. I loved her accent. As I write this, Annina has a new show back home in Germany where she goes back to her original pre-porn job fresh out college: selling apartments and houses.
